Theology of Cruelty
The Moral Meltdown of the United States
"Cruelty isn’t just about what you do with your hands. It’s how you think, how you talk. And right now, we’ve got a President who’s cruel in his words and, frankly, in his thinking — especially toward immigrants, outsiders, dissenters, and the vulnerable. Maybe even in his actions, too. The problem is, when someone at the top acts like that, it sends a message: this kind of behavior is normal, even patriotic. But it’s not. It’s cowardice dressed up as strength. And it’s part of a deeper moral unraveling in this country I fought for. I am an ex-Marine. We’re better than this — or at least, we used to be.”
