​"Process theology has been deeply formative in my work as a theologian and continues to influence my work at Theology Matters.  In this video I do my best to unpack some of the key components of process thought and try to break them down into something that is manageable, comprehensive, and easy to understand.  It’s important to add that while the original intended audience for this video is primarily people who find themselves within the Christian tradition, process theology, as influenced by the philosophy of Whitehead, has been and continues to be a framework and way of living that is now being developed from many different faith perspectives — Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, for example — and also by people who are spiritually interested but not religiously affiliated.  It is an interfaith tradition. It is also important to note that process theology is diverse and often lends itself to different uses of terms.  Because of this, the “primordial” and “consequent” natures of God as defined in this video may be defined in other ways as well.
